how to FOTD Neutral Eyes Bold Lips!
Yesterday was World AIDS Day and I just wanted to play with makeup and doll up as it feels like ages since I did an all out glamorous look. I recently received the MAC Viva Glam Miley Cyrus 2 Lipstick which inspired me to create a look around it. The MAC Miley Cyrus 2 Lipstick is a bright vermilion orange hence I decided to keep the eyes neutral with chiselled cheeks.
Starting off with the eyes, I used an intense brown eyeshadow in the crease with a taupe-brown as my transition color. I also used a matte black eyeshadow in the outer corner to add a bit of smokiness. Next, I applied a beige eyeshadow on the lid. I wanted to keep my waterline bare and applied a brown eye pencil on the lower lashline and smudged it a bit. Completed the eyemakeup with a winged liner, some natural falsies and loads of mascara. As I used only matte eyeshadows, the eye makeup is appropriate for the day as well.
Since I was going all out I used a full coverage foundation with strongly contoured cheeks, a coral blush with ofcourse a bright tangerine lipstick. I’m obsessed with strobing and in winters I get to go overboard with it without looking “sweaty” The Sleek Contour Kit is my HG and I highly recommend it, for the price it performs so well!
This look is perfect for any occasion, especially in winters. Just switch the lipstick with a plum or a brown lipstick and you’re ready to turn heads. Thats the beauty with neutral eyes, you can pair any lipstick with it and the combination will always look beautiful. Only thing, blend blend and then blend some more!
